AtDise, we offer market-leading software for Digital In-store experiences. Dise works with forward-thinking brands, such as Volvo, M&S, J.Lindeberg and Uniqlo. From our offices in Sweden and the UK we enable our partners and their customers to design and implement unique Digital In-store solutions. We call it Dise – Digital In-store experience.

As we continue to innovate and expand our offerings, we are seeking a talented and passionate full-timeJavascript / Typescript Developerto join our team to develop Digital Player Software. In this role you will have the opportunity to work with a multitude of platforms like Android, Linux, Windows,Samsung Tizen, Android, BrightSign and other IoT platforms.

The products created will be used in thousands of devices all over the world. Together with your team you will develop, maintain, and deploy these products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software on IoT devices.
• Stay updated with emerging cloud and IoT technologies and industry trends like edge computing.
• Work in a development team using agile development methods.
• Optimize software performance, resource usage, and power consumption for playback devices.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and stability of the digital signage player software.
• Develop and use software modules and components for audio and video playback.

About you

• Proficiency in programming languages, including JavaScript and TypeScript, as reflected in your CV.
• Experience with web technologies, including HTML and CSS.
• Fondness for debugging tools, testing methodologies, and software development best practices.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, especially when facing complex technical challenges.
• Strong interpersonal abilities, enabling effective teamwork in a close-knit environment with a touch of humour.
• Excellent English communication and writing skills, used regularly for seamless day-to-day interaction.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java, C++ and C# is always a plus.
• Linux setup and drivers experience? Highlight it!
